I wanted to try version 3.0 for at least a week before commenting on it. Whisperings PureStream now runs eight hours a day on 3g while in my office; and I am happy to report that it runs without interruption. Naturally, I also get the same results on WiFi at home. It appears that this version has resolved whatever intermittent stability problems may have existed in version 2.2. As a member of the “senior community”, Id love to see a larger font used for the Artist and Title display in the next update.

Plain an simple even with free stream! This app may convince me to sign up fort the subscription commercial free service. Thanks Oscar Mejia

I love this station and have been a subscriber on iTunes for a while. So, was excited when I saw this app! App works great, but it will close if you try and use another app at the same time. Need that upgraded, then a full 5 stars.

Multitask support! Now I can listen to this app while its playing in the background. I know you could do that already with its option to play in Safari, but I do enjoy iOS4s ability to run music players of your choice in the background and Im glad Whisperings is added to that list. The developer has also been very awesome too. He does listen and Ive received responses to my feedback. Keep up the great work! :)

I have used Whisperings on my computer for quite a while and then when it was available for the IPhone I was delighted. When I had a difficulty I emailed Mr Roy and received an email quickly in return and the issue was resolved. I enjoy taking Whisperings with me where ever I go. Being an Artist, my studio doesnt seem the same with out the music from Whisperings playing. People have asked what is that music from and I get to tell them about Whisperings. Thanks for the great App.

Love this app! If you are looking for something smooth that will drift you away from the madness of the world, then this is your app. Soothing piano sounds with the option to upgrade to Pure Stream with no commercial interruptions...just unending calm! Definitely worth the $30 annual subscription!

Both of the problems mentioned in my prior review have been fixed. I am very happy to raise this app to five stars. And the music is STILL gorgeous. The music you get from this channel is wonderful. Some of the best of the best piano artists and composers are here with marvelous sounds to lift the heart and spirit. The bad news is the app. First, too often, when you hit PAUSE and close the app, it jumps right back up and starts playing again, and again, and... Second, it doesnt retain your chosen bandwidth settings from run to run. Each time it starts, it starts again at high bandwidth. For those on data-limited cell plans,this is unacceptable. Fix both problems, and it would be a five-star app.

I really like the new look. And being able to select the buffer size is really helpful especially on congested networks. I signed up for PureStream to get the higher quality stream and that sounds great as well. The instruction page is also helpful. Given the quality, I still feel that $9.99 is worth the money, especially since many other radio station apps offer much less (no browser, no artist info, etc).

This app is well worth the $10. Combine this app with year subscription and you will have very enjoyable experience.

This app is worth every penny, its very beautiful and relaxing music. I am a lifelong professional musician and this is some of the best Ive heard, very high quality instrumentation and arrangements, and excellent sound quality even in the free stream. I listen to Whisperings on my computer while working, and on my iPhone especially at night. I love the timer as I can fall asleep to the relaxing music and it shuts off after. A great big thank you to the creators of this app and all the wonderful musicians!

Ive had this app for years and it just keeps getting better. Whisperings stands out from other offerings in several ways. In this category... 1) No other app provides you nearly the information 2) No other app integrates the information seamlessly 3) No other app is as well featured 4) No other app has a developer constantly looking for ways to improve their product and listening to users and their requests Whisperings also looks great on the New iPad Despite not being "HD". Im very excited about what Ken is planning to do next now that there is more real estate to play with!

Ive been using this app for three years now... It is one of the only apps of the hundreds that Ive downloaded that Ive continued to use through those three years. I have it playing in my office all day. The music is truly beautiful and the artists are extremely talented. Even with the free stream there is a very large library and no over-playing of songs. If you are looking for solo-piano music I cannot recommend this app enough!

I had a few issues when I first started using this app, and after working with the developer and doing some experimenting on my own we determined that my cheap wireless AP was to blame. After swapping that out it has been smooth-sailing since. Fast-forward a year or so and I contacted the developer again regarding a feature request (having a song history for those times you hear a song you like but cant get back to the iPad fast enough to see what it was), and I had a reply the same morning indicating that he was already working on something similar! This app is great for bringing solo piano music to my desk at work, and the developer keeps it regularly updated to stay in sync with the latest versions of iOS.

All of the bugs have been worked out and as long as the app remembers my password for me, Im good. Wish I could rate it 10 stars.

For anyone who loves the sound of acoustic piano, the Whisperings app is a must-have. Its a great to have in the background as wonderful ambient music, and its a great way to be introduced to new tunes from a wide range of artists. I went commercial-free with the PureStream version and I cant tell you how terrific it is to have non-stop piano music without commercial interruption. Its one of my favorite apps of all time, and I look forward to renewing each year. Thanks!

Love this station. It is so nice to listen to while Im working. I even put it on when I go to sleep with the timer!

Very cluttered main screen. Pls consider adding the option of hiding the wish list and favorites.....simplicity would be bliss. I like that now album and track info shows up on my Apple TV. Im sorry to say that the recent upgrade (Sep-2013) is buggy and temperamental. For now, Ill have to downgrade my original five-star rating to four. Our experience is nothing but positive. No crashes, no unexplained prompts for password (and I choose my own password); installed app on both my iPad and an iPod Touch, and listen much of the time through AirPlay connected to Apple TV and a Bose home theater system. Believe me, it is the best piano solo music out there. We subscribe to Whisperings "Pure Stream," which, I guess, makes us true believers. I highly recommend this app!....and dont think youll be disappointed.

I listen to Whispering almost every day and most nights it lulls me to sleep. The sleep timer is a nice feature. The new app interface is awesome. The muted colors are easy on the eyes in a dark room. The song descriptions now update even after coming back from sleep. I often set the sleep timer and then just let my I ipad or iPhone go to sleep. Thank you solo piano radio for bringing this peace into my life. You made a great program even better.

I really enjoy Whisperings. If you want to listen to unlimited relaxing piano music, this is for you. It has a much broader playlist than Pandora where you will hear the same songs over and over. I really appreciate the favorite/skip feature it has too.

How refreshing to find an app that unites me with such beautiful music in one place. I can see using the app for relaxing at home, quiet gatherings, or a nice romantic dinner. I love it!
