The app gives you access to the Whisperings free stream (included) or, if you have an active paid subscription to Whisperings PureStream, log in to your commercial-free "PureStream" account direct from the app. (Note that paid subscriptions are sold separately and are *not* included with the app purchase).
Whisperings is a solo piano music broadcast featuring over 375 talented pianists from around the world. Its piano music 24/7, with an emphasis on music that is melodic, peaceful and relaxing. I have had problem to log in because of a bug and when I contacted emphatek, one person from it answered quickly and have been very patient in order to solve my problem.
The app is convenient, but the function "wake or sleep" not really. It would be better if it could be set up like an alarm clock (where you can choose when you want to wake up) rather than like a time-switch. Also it would be really convenient if this wake timer could work while the app in the background and the screen locked. I would appreciate that the message from the empty wish list and favorites to stop popping up every time I touch them, once is enough.
Its an easy to use app with good stability, lot of functions and, of course, it streams great solo piano music...
It truly is an luxurious app, but like all luxurious things it is comletely overpriced
Ive had Whisperings for quite some time now. Now with the new update, its even better yet. Especially the feature allowing for background playing! Thats a huge bonus.
The interface is very clean and uncluttered. Gives you details about the artist and can link right to artist in the iTunes store, or to the artists website. Overall a very silky finish that more than compliments Apples "look and feel".
As for support . . . Im impressed. I had an issue recently (no fault of Whisperings, but as it turns out, with Safari), and had a very quick response with detailed instructions. Not only was the problem fixed, but I learned something new about Safaris background workings.
One of those programs where its apparent that a lot of hard work and thought went into it. Well done!
This app is great and does what it promises but for $10.00 I think it should come with a tutorial because it is a little confusing at first. I had no idea really how to use it and had to guess and press buttons! Either than that, it seems to be working so far. The only other thing I could suggest is to maybe update it in the sense that the buttons and interior look a little dated and could use a fancy makeover :D but good job on the app, thank you :)

Some bad moments

Please enable a feature to save music for off-line listening.
For $10 this app doesnt do much and now whenever I try to skip a song, the next song glitches and pauses and doesnt play. This app doesnt look very nice either. The icons are pixelly and look cheap. It needs a makeover and as db said, a tutorial. For $10 this app isnt good at all. Two stars is generous. Disappointed.
I have been using this app for a couple weeks now with pure stream. At first it worked great and now I keep getting "no network available". I dont even have the cellular turned on, only my wifi so Im not sure why its doing this. Im paying for this service and would like to be able to use it without problems. Please fix this apparent big.
Nice app with great customer support. I love that I can play the app through my cars Bluetooth and control it with the Whisperings app watch app!
